Compositions
I enjoy composing when time allows for it, and am delighted to share it with you for use in church, school, or your local choir. I upload all my works through SMP Publishing; click the hyperlink on the song title to be taken to the purchase screen. Please browse below and select the music you are interested in.
Choral
Grace and Peace Unto You: SATB with flute and piano accompaniment. Written for the 50th anniversary celebration of Northwest United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio. $2.38 per octavo, minimum of ten orders.
Silent Night: I wrote this SAB arrangement for my students at Whetstone High School. The lyrics were edited so that it could be more accessible for a public school setting, and it also features a violin solo or other C instrument (flute works especially well). $2.38 per octavo, minimum of ten orders.
Piano Solo
All Through the Night: This Welsh hymn arrangement is one of the first works I ever wrote for solo piano, and one of my favorites. Especially great for Advent or Christmas but truly works throughout the church year. $3.99 per digital download.
In the Glow of Morning: This quiet and meditative piano piece I wrote in 2012 is perfect for a church service prelude or other incidental music. $3.99
Variation of Love Divine, All Loves Excelling: I’ve always loved Methodist hymn tunes, going back to when I’d visit my mother’s church in Cincinnati as a child. This was written for the congregation at Northwest UMC in Columbus, on my final Sunday before I left to attend Notre Dame. Works as a great postlude piece or a program using contemporary Christian music. $3.99
Up From the Grave He Arose: Here is a hymn arrangement of the beloved Baptist hymn, intended for Easter service in 2020. $3.99
Organ Solo
Rondo in Early Classical Style: This easy organ composition is excellent for a postlude for church services of any denomination. $3.99
Dialogue for Two Organ Manuals: This organ arrangement for the manuals requires quick movement between the great and swell manuals. However, do not feel the changing between registers must happen in time; it is totally fine to have a “breath” or pause between registers. The player can also feel free to use whichever stops he or she prefers, as long as the swell is similar in timbre to the great and sounds like an “echo” compared to the great. $3.99
Handbell Choir
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty: This is a two-octave arrangement of "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty" intended for a smaller ensemble. It can be performed with as few as five players. Piece is in A major, with D3 as the lowest note and F#5 as the highest. $10, with unlimited copy privileges.
